About
Quiet Keys Studio is the private teaching practice of Mira Chen — one student, one piano, every lesson.
Mira Chen
Mira founded Quiet Keys Studio to offer the kind of tuition she wished more students could find: unrushed, musically honest, and personal. She teaches children discovering their first melodies, teenagers preparing graded work, and adults who simply want music back in the week.
Her approach blends classical foundations with repertoire that students care about. Exam pathways — including ABRSM-style preparation — are available when they serve the learner, never when they overshadow enjoyment.
Every lesson is taught by Mira herself. There are no assistant teachers and no rotating timetables — only continuity, memory of your last practice week, and a studio kept deliberately quiet.
The studio
Located in the Lorong Chuan area, Quiet Keys Studio is a small teaching room designed for listening — soft light, a reliable upright piano, and space for a parent to sit when a young student prefers company.
-
Personal continuity
Unlike larger schools, you will not meet a different instructor mid-term. Progress is tracked by one pair of ears.
-
Singapore families welcome
Students travel from across the island. Lesson slots are scheduled with school and work rhythms in mind.
-
Respectful atmosphere
The studio is a calm room. Phones stay aside during lessons so attention can stay with the music.
